Personal Profile
Andrea is a Clinical Psychologist with over 20 years of experience providing evidence-based psychological treatment across both public and private mental health settings. Throughout her career, she has worked with adults across Australia, including rural & remote communities, as well as internationally in London, supporting clients through a broad range of emotional and psychological challenges.

Andrea completed her Bachelor of Arts (Double Major in Psychology), Honours in Psychology, and Master of Clinical Psychology at the University of Queensland. She is a Member of the Australian Psychological Society (MAPS), a Fellow of the APS College of Clinical Psychologists (FCCLP) and is a Psychology Board of Australia Approved Supervisor (STAP).

Andrea has a special interest in women's mental health, particularly supporting women throughout pregnancy, the postnatal period, and the transition to parenthood. She understands that this stage of life can bring significant emotional, physical and relational changes, and enjoys working alongside women experiencing anxiety, depression, birth-related trauma, fertility challenges, pregnancy loss, adjustment to parenthood, and other perinatal mental health concerns.

She also has extensive experience supporting adults experiencing anxiety disorders, depression, stress and burnout, grief and loss, life transitions, self-esteem difficulties, and adjustment challenges. Andrea values building genuine therapeutic relationships and provides a warm, compassionate and collaborative environment where clients feel safe to explore their experiences and work towards meaningful change.

Andrea predominantly practises from a Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) framework. CBT is an evidence-based approach that helps people identify and challenge unhelpful thinking patterns, understand the connection between thoughts, emotions and behaviours, and develop practical coping strategies that promote long-term psychological wellbeing. Drawing on over two decades of clinical experience, Andrea tailors treatment to each client's unique needs and goals, integrating additional therapeutic approaches where appropriate.
