Personal Profile

Kyna is a Clinical Psychologist with experience working across a variety of settings with children, adolescents, and older adults. She completed her Bachelor of Arts in India (2018) and Master of Clinical Psychology in Australia (2022), bringing a diverse and culturally informed perspective to her work.

Kyna works with children, adolescents and adults, supporting them with a broad range of mental health concerns. Kyna has particular clinical interests in anxiety and attachment-related difficulties. She supports clients experiencing difficulties with:

  • Anxiety and Mood disorders

  • Attachment-related difficulties

  • Adjustment & life transitions

  • Interpersonal & relationship concerns

  • Emotional dysregulation

  • Trauma & stressful life events

 

Kyna’s therapeutic approach is grounded in building strong rapport and working collaboratively with clients to support meaningful and lasting change. She values empathy, authenticity, and creating a safe space where clients feel understood and supported, recognising that each individual’s journey is unique.

 

Kyna draws upon a range of evidence-based therapeutic approaches, delivered through a holistic, strength-based, and present-focused lens, including:

  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

  • Attachment-informed approaches

  • Strengths-based interventions

 

She integrates compassion, practical strategies, and a warm, engaging style—bringing a touch of creativity and flexibility to ensure therapy is tailored to each client’s personality and needs.

 

Kyna is fluent in English, Hindi, and Sindhi.
