Personal Profile
Nicholas is a Psychologist and Clinical Psychology Registrar who holds a Bachelor of Psychological Science (Honours) and a Master of Clinical Psychology from The University of Queensland. During his training, he was awarded the Burnett William Wendorff Memorial Award for Excellence in Clinical Psychology, recognising his academic performance and clinical skills within the Master of Clinical Psychology program.
Nicholas’ clinical work focuses on helping adults and adolescents manage anxiety, depression, ADHD, relationship difficulties, and challenges related to self-esteem and confidence.
Nicholas has experience providing psychological assessment and evidence-based therapy across private practice and hospital settings. He delivers both individual and group interventions for a range of presentations, including anxiety disorders, mood disorders, trauma-related difficulties, and adjustment concerns. Nicholas also conducts psychological assessments to support improvements in academic, occupational, and social functioning.
Nicholas works with adolescents and adults experiencing challenges including:
• Anxiety (social anxiety, generalised anxiety, panic, performance anxiety, perfectionism and health anxiety)
• Depression and low mood
• ADHD and attention-related difficulties
• Relationship and interpersonal difficulties

• Sexual difficulties (including performance anxiety, compulsive pornography use, and orgasm difficulties)
Nicholas takes a collaborative and client-centred approach to therapy, working with each individual to understand their experiences and develop practical strategies for change. His therapeutic style is supportive, structured, and grounded in evidence-based approaches.
Nicholas focuses on helping clients develop skills to better understand their thoughts and emotions, improve emotional regulation, strengthen relationships, and build greater confidence and self-esteem in daily life.
